Well, this is not a review of Melissa McDonald but of agent Beason Kisang. He oversees our car insurance policy. I called after receiving our renewal for Apr-Oct 2025. Just had a few questions about the normal policy verbiage, specifically regarding the part about good driver discounts, as well as a paragraph about re-calculating the rate based on performance metrics, and some other odds and ends. A couple of things I noticed was Beason's professionalism and the eagerness behind his voice to explain clearly everything behind these statements. It was good information that I had not known before. He was very conversant with our policy. His information helped my wife and me make good choices for our situation going forward. In addition--as all sales reps do, he described one option to reduce our premiums in a more real-time assessment during the year--the Drive Safe and Save program. He also described the possibility of "bundling" our car insurance with our home insurance. In our half-hour conversation, he never pressured me. He always was courteous, understanding, and patient to listen to me when I summarized what he was describing to make sure I had "gotten it" (I did that several times!) Overall, he is a consummate professional, and I commend him and recommend him!

If yall ever get a chance to talk with Beason, you're privileged. This man knows his insurance. His personality compares to no other. I've been in customer service and Beason is the best there is. He goes the extra mile to make sure you're taking of. And I know this because hes done it for me. Just ask him questions, he'll get the answer.

Just relocated from out of state and was happy to meet Melissa and her staff. Everyone in the office is very polite and have always been very courteous when I have called or stopped by. From the start Melissa did a great job with getting me what I needed to switch over my vehicle insurances. She was also able to get me better coverage for my renters insurance for a cheaper price than what I was paying with my previous company that I had been with for 10 years. It's nice having a person I can call instead of a 1--800 number when I need help with something or have a question. I wold definitely recommend anyone who appreciates good customer service to give Melissa and her team a call.

So, I googled Melissa’s office-as I do every time I need to call her, because I’m lazy and haven’t saved the number—and I just saw that Melissa and her team have some pretty rude reviews mixed in with all the good ones. I just want to take a moment and discredit those bad reviews. Whoever wrote “Melissa is a horrible person”- that’s just ridiculous. Obviously that person has some issues of their own. I am by far one of the worst State Farm customers. I’m always late on my payment, hard to reach, etc... and Melissa has shown me nothing but kindness and empathy from the beginning of my policy with her over a year ago. Her team is incredibly knowledgeable and anytime I catch one of them on the phone instead of Melissa- it’s not a big deal. I know I can trust who I’m speaking to every single time. For anyone reading this looking for a new agent I would recommend Melissa 10/10 times. You will not be disappointed. Fantastic service all around. Great job, team.

I was compelled to write this review as a result of our recent experience with State Farm.
We experienced hail damage from the July 2018 storm. Although the home office has not been helpful with the process (and we finally received payment for our damages 5 months later), Melissa and her office have risen above and beyond in so many ways to get the issues resolved.

Prior to our long distance relocation 5 years ago, I reached out to Melissa’s office to discuss the transfer all of our policies with State Farm to her office. She was courteous and very knowledgeable, offering a seamless transition of all of our polices. We have always been treated well by all of her staff, questions answered, calls returned in a timely manner.

State Farm should be grateful to have agents such as Melissa. If not for her, we would have abandoned State Farm long ago. It is because of her and the agents along the way who have served us previously, that we continue to give them our business (going on 46 years for my husband, 37 years for us as a couple). We are those ‘old school’ folks who want and expect customer service from the businesses we support. Melissa does indeed deliver that level of service.

I would be remiss to ignore a review left by ‘Anon A. Miss’ (you must think yourself clever). First of all, if you have a problem with a business, reach out to them and express your dissatisfaction and allow them to remedy the issue(s) you have with them before leaving a negative review with no explanation for your dissatisfaction. To publicly and personally attack another person (anonymously no less) with no explanation is also inexcusable. For the record, Melissa is not a ‘Horrible person’. In fact, she is a lovely, hardworking, dedicated young woman.
