My neighbor and I are currently embroiled in a legal battle over an HOA issue concerning properties that Unified Title was the title agency at closing. I contacted Unified to act on my behalf, and contacted Laura Moya to submit my claim. A couple of weeks passed with no update, my neighbor and I left numerous messages for Laura with non returned. I was able to finally get a hold of her after being transferred by the receptionist; seemed fairly obvious she didn't want to talk to customers. While speaking with her, not only was she in a hurry to get off the phone, but gave me incorrect information as to who was handling my claim. After two hours on the phone, I was able to track down the person reviewing my claim. They turned down my claim, and in all honestly, had a decent argument for doing so. But there was yet another neighbor involved in the same suit, and their title agency is paying for their defense. I would not use them again and I'm very disappointed in their lack of professionalism. -MC
