This company is awful! I lived in a property that was managed by them for 4 years. In that time, I would have my water cut off every few months during the day with no warning because they were doing work. It took me 3 years to get them to add me to the email list, but they rarely use that and mostly seem to post on an internal system that you will not get access to if you are a renter. The emails I would send directly to our property manager, Elizabeth, went unanswered. If you can avoid having to deal with them, I would.

They installed a new key-fob system a year before I moved out that went down all the time and they also changed the lock on the front door to something that none of us had keys for. I asked for a key for the door and was repeatedly told no. So when the key pad or fob would go out, we would have to go around the building to the back door until that reader also broke and then we would have to go to the basement door. It was down for at least a week before I moved out, but it went out every few months for a day or so. If we could have just gotten a key, all of us could have managed better but they just refused for no real reason.

The real kicker was our boiler went down in the middle of a polar vortex... and so we didn't have hot water or heat for 21 days in the building. The dryers stopped working, washing hands in 40 degree temps is painful, and we were all having to go to the rec center to take showers for a full 3 weeks. They did end up providing space heaters, but that tripled my energy bill in that time period. I asked for an updated timeline and was never contacted. They just didn't seem to think that any of it was a rush despite the fact that it snowed 3 times in those 21 days.

Associa is horrific. Our boiler in our apartment complex has been out for over a month, with no end in sight. The communication from Associa is sparse and shady. A city inspector has been on this case and they have not been responding to his inquiries and multiple violations.
Don’t know what they do with our money- but they certainly don’t use it to fix things

We are unable to reach anyone on the board of our HOA, nor with the Association.

A plumbing job for nearly 10k has an unpaid invoice, and we are still owed 3k (as assured in writing by someone on the board).

These folks are miss-managing funds, and there is some very shady stuff going on.

I'd hope that our request for a call back is returned, before external parties get involved.

Don't ever go with Associa!!!!! I am the treasurer of an association and our financials are never on time, response from the entire management team is unresponsive. We've been through several community managers in a 6 month window(One we didn't even meet). We have 2 major project that haven't moved in months because of a lack of action from Associa and that is probably going to cost us another 70K in insurance premiums because we can't get a quote for an electrician to verify we don't have any aluminum wiring on any of the 110 lines. Stay clear of this company if you care about your association.

Karla Strader, General Manager here at Palomino Park, is wonderful! I have called her , several times over the last few years about concerns and questions here. Every time, she responds quickly with the info or solution! I am so impressed with her efficiency, effectiveness, and manner. TY to Associa and Karla for the efficient management here. We have 3600+ residents here and how she can respond so well and timely is amazing!

If I could, I would put zero star. Unprofessional and very hard to get clear answers from them in a timely manner. They use the HOA web portal to send messages or violations, but I was told by them that they do not monitor the responses from residents....Then, what's the point of them posting the messages or violations in that web portal. Just doesn't make sense.
