This is the most hands off management company I have ever worked with. Every possible question I’ve posed to any point of contact has referred to “the team” in getting me answers, many of which have still not been answered.

During the application process we had issues connecting with any individual to help. During the post-approval, pre-move-in process the contact never gave us a straight answer on when we could see the property, continually referring to ongoing renovations.

Upon move- in the property was not cleaned and in a state of disrepair. There was a gas leak on the side of the house, exposed HOT electrical wiring, the furnace went out during extreme cold weather, the oven was broken, the washing machine was broken, there’s a broken window in the basement, and on top of that the house was absolutely filthy - showing no signs anywhere of a professional cleaning.

I’ve raised many requests and concerns to the management company, a vast majority of which has gone unanswered or ignored. I’m extremely disappointed with the property management team as a whole and moving to our new residence has been a complete nightmare.

AVOID THIS RENTAL COMPANY - not only do they lack professional communication but they will take every cent from you that they can, including surprise “residential package” fees.

We moved out of a house that we rented for a year, scrubbed that place from the top and bottom. After almost 60 days of not receiving the security deposit or any sort of communication, we receive an email stating that we owe an additional $1,436.26 on top of the fees that were used for the security deposit. The descriptions literally stated “light touch up paint” for $165.75. And charged us for the garage door to be painted. The lease explicitly states that the renter is not responsible for anything beyond normal wear and tear and they made it sound like we put holes in the walls. We requested proof of the damages and they failed to provide them to us.

As being a renter in Colorado for the past 13 years, I have NEVER had such an awful experience with any rental company. They are extremely unprofessional, never answer their phones or reply to emails. They only reach out when they decide to charge you ridiculous fees for a rental that was left in better condition than it was upon move in.

Overall, we lost $4,036.26 renting from Evernest. These are photos of the property right before move out. It’s very clear we took care of this property.

Save yourself a ton a stress and a ton of money and do not rent from them.

We tried to fight the charges but they did not budge. We found out that the house needed substantial repairs such as new roofing, sub pump etc. and I feel confident that this was a way to get more money from us so the owner didn’t have to pay for the upkeep of the house.

Just a quick note to mention my experience acquiring a lease with the assistance of Paulina Carrillo a leasing coordinator with the Evernest Team.
Like I suspect most life critical business activities, finding the right product and working through the various steps of qualifying, negotiating and successfully finishing my lease went through more than a few ups and downs. The one constant was Ms Carrillo’s professionalism and commitment to getting it done. Very thankful for her involvement.

First and foremost--the majority of these 5 star reviews are from people who have not rented with Evernest. They demanded positive reviews from me pretty early on into my application process, way before signing a lease, let alone moving in and living here.
Evernest themselves have been nothing but a headache to talk to and deal with.
First of all, I've had a leak supposedly coming from somewhere in the pipes connecting to my unit that is devastating the business below me. I've had over 6 different plumbers come in to try to "resolve" the issue, and each time, they just look at my floor, don't see a flood, and shrug their shoulders and leave. It's resulted in me being scared to use any sort of water in my house because I don't want to be destroying the neighboring business, but I can't get in there and diagnose and fix the pipes myself. This issue has been going on for 8 months now.
My next big issue has been failing to provide notice for entry. I was curled up in bed in my pajamas when five random people loudly walked through my front door. I was terrified to say the least, I thought my unit was being broken into, but it turned out to be prospective buyers for my building. When I reached out to explain my discomfort with the lack of notice for entry, I received falsified records of them notifying me. When I clarified that I did not receive any sort of notice, and I was greatly concerned that they either contacted the wrong person or are just blatantly lying to me, I got ignored.
Not only was that an incredibly uncomfortable situation for me, but it was wildly unsafe on behalf of the prospective buyers. Those people are very lucky that I came out with bewildered questions for them instead of a firearm.
My main point of contact has been Rolan Miro, and he has been beyond distasteful, disrespectful, and unhelpful.
I've been begging (and been being denied) to speak with any other employee at Evernest. I've also asked a total of 5 times now to get in contact with my property's owner to share my concerns and complaints, and either receive the silent treatment or any other workarounds that Mr. Miro can possibly find to avoid me filing a complaint about his behavior.
On the off-chance that my property owner somehow sees this review, please find a way to contact me! Both my neighbors and I have been so angry with Evernest and their treatment towards this complex, and we would love to speak with you about our issues.
Truly mortifying experience so far. Hopefully I can get some sort of resolution, as I like the area and unit itself, but cannot STAND this property management. I'd love to sign another lease here, but I truly don't think I can stomach it under Evernest. I'd rather go through the process of moving than paying them $250 for another year of problems with them.
