Shepherd Realty managed both rental properties and sales of properties for us for years. Wayne and Carol are professionals with great knowledge of the market in both rental and sales. Being that we lived out of state, we were confident that the properties were being managed effectively. And when it came time to sell, we were confident that we were in great hands. Wayne and Carole Shephard have managed my rental in Evergreen for over 15 years. They are the most honest people you will ever meet. Unlike the company that manages my Denver rentals, they are careful selecting tenants and wise in contracting repairs and maintenance. I have also used them to buy and sell real estate, and I could not have been more pleased. I recommend them with confidence. I have used Shephard Realty to manage my property for 9 years. I live out of State and I can't imagine using another Management Company. I have 100% confidence in Carole and Wayne's professional management experience and expertise with handling all lease contracts, finding excellent qualified tenants, and tenant satisfaction with their thorough and fast response time with any issues that arise through-out the lease term. In 9 years I have never had a day that any property wasn't occupied and I attribute that to excellent management. I have bought two Condos using Shephard Realty and they did an excellent job negotiating, keeping me in the loop and closing the transaction. I have been a renter with Shephard Realty for this past year.( I've been a renter for 20). We love our little cabin and it's location. Always!- kind interaction with Wayne, Carole and their receptionist/office manager., Melissa.
We had one minor drain problem that was addressed and solved IMMEDIATELY! . I've also had "preventative" considerations- As they checked on our heating and water/drainage/ pipes - before the start of winter season. Both a Plumbing and Electrician service was sent...to be sure everything would work well for Us. They communicated about appointments and considered My schedule- In doing so. Shephard Realty has been my Best experience- over my years .
They are also - genuinely Wonderful individuals who are caring and involved in Community . I'm grateful.

They were beyond fair with some difficult situations I had. If I am able to move back to CO one of these days I will seek out one of their properties. Wayne and Carole are great property managers. There was a mishap with the hot water heater and they provided a place for me to stay that was convenient to my work. They have taken of all repairs the property needed. Wayne and Carole are friendly and helpful people.
