I don't normally write reviews but I need to give kudos to my credit union, Credit Union of the Rockies - Golden, Colorado. I joined about 40 years ago and have never had anything but exceptional experiences. I've had multiple car loans, co-signed for loans and a HELOC. Each of these, my expectations were met and beyond. I also want to mention I had made a friend with Beth, who worked the switch board and during a time of upheaval and choas in my life, she could almost always handle my issue herself. She's since retired, but I'm sure passed the torch of excellent customer service.
I have moved to California part-time and still can count on my credit Union. I reached out awhile back regarding a lease buyout and immediately was contacted by Pheboe Waters. After a few questions she had to let me know she was unable to help me but.... she explained why and exhibited abundant patience until I understood. I felt very confident in her and just recently reached out directly to her to see what it would take, or if it was possible to secure a personal loan. Again, I was contacted immediately. I want everyone to know my account was funded the same day I made the inquiry. Phoebe was on top of it at every step. No back and forth playing phone tag or forgotten questions. Done deal. Phoebe is a gem and knows her job, I would take care of her. I couldn't be more happy and comfortable knowing this institution really does care.

Kathy had been calling the wrong number to reach out to me and everything was resolved. I had questioned why they had always given such great service in the past until this. So everything is good now and Kathy made good.
They are back in my good graces

I have been a member with Credit Union of the Rockies for around 20 years. Joined when they had a branch up in Black Hawk. Always great service. Phoebe helped me increase my credit limit. Was very easy to do with her help. Got it done in a timely manner. Very friendly people there in Golden, CO. Thank you all!

We were having trouble finding our loan account and setting up a payment plan through “shared branch” and were unsuccessful. Once we came in to credit union of the Rockies in Golden Luke and Robert helped us within minutes of being here. Very knowledgeable and professional! Thanks guys!

I can't say enough great things about Page, Devon and the whole lending team at Credit Union of the Rockies. The lease was up on my car with another financial institution and I wanted to buy it. CUR quickly figured out a great interest rate for me, a payment within my budget and moved quickly to get it done. Page kept me in the loop along the way so I was always informed. Need a loan? I was inquiring about transferring funds to another account and I was lucky enough to get Sara. I was not expecting an email response for a couple of days. Sara emailed me very quickly and on a Friday. She had options for me and found the best one that worked for me. I had some additional questions and she responded again. She was kind, thorough and very professional. I am so lucky to be a part of the Credit Union of the Rockies family. Sara is a rockstar.
