In the six+ years that my company has been a vendor of Castle Management, I consider Castle to be one of the best property management companies in the Bay Area. All of the portfolio managers and resident managers treat our service personnel and me with professional appreciation and respect, even when they need my company's services on very short notice. I also appreciate that Castle remains a locally-owned business. Many property management companies are owned by out-of-state entities that make communication and billing complicated and frustrating. Property managers sometimes have a thankless job, but Castle's good people perform consistently well, in my opinion. I have recommended Castle Management to customers of mine who are dissatisfied with their own property management companies.

Not tenant friendly, also when moving out they are deceptive in their expenses related to turning over units when moving out. Over-charging for ticky-tacky repairs among other things

I have rented 3 different apartments in the last 5 years and always received 95% of my deposit back from property managers . I have great rental history . I just recently moved out of Sun Garden Apartments which is managed by (Castle management) which I was there for only 9 months. and apparently I am not getting no Deposit back. The past 2 property managers only billed me for carpet clean which is understandable . But Castle management is charging me for appliance cleaning /Minor touch up paint/ and they are Re-Painting the whole apartment. because the walls are apparently dirty. when property manager and maintenance guy came to do the final walk through the maintenance guy kept saying (Just minor Touch Up) which I agree 100% . I was also expecting most of my deposit back. but castle management definitely hit me with a curb ball. I will never rent or would recommend anybody to rent from them ever.
