Updating my initial review to reflect the change in level of service I experienced with Baum CPA. I have since left Baum CPA and I regret the time and money that I invested in this firm. Being a first time business owner and getting the more salesy version of the firm, it seemed like a good fit. However, after being charged for simple tax questions (after being instructed to always reach out with questions) and excessive recurring monthly charges for a year, while managing my own payroll and categorizing expenditures, I can honestly say that it's much cheaper to do most of this work yourself with a more reasonably priced CPA firm. This was confirmed for me when I talked with other ROBS CPA firms that could not believe I was paying so much with Baum for the amount of work I had to do to on my end after seeing my books.

In the process of expanding my existing business, the lenders recommended a ROBS account- this was my first exposure to the exact funding vehicle, so I did some homework. Brian is very knowledgeable, and tells you like it is. I was very close to funding a business using ROBS financing, but after speaking to Brian, it was evident that ROBS financing was not in our best interest. Brian will give you an accurate assesment of using ROBS financing, not tell you what you want to hear (like the slick sales people at Gnt Financial). Brian thank you for saving me an exponential amount of time. Because we chose against ROBS financing, we couldn't use their on-going services unfortunately. He told us the truth, and lost a potential client because of that. Thank you for having a huge amount of preofessional integrity Brian!
