I recently obtained an auto refinance from ACU and the experience could not have gone any smoother. The communication was excellent throughout the process, including the follow up phone call from Michael Ramirez to go over getting my accounts set up, navigating the website and app, setting up monthly auto pay, and being sure that any questions I had were fully addressed.

Pleasantly surprised!

Andre did an excellent job helping me refinance my car loan. He was able to get me approved for less than half the interest that I was paying before. Since, I went through a used car dealer that set me up with a system called cudle that sky rocket my interest. He is thorough, patient, very professional and provided me with excellent customer service. I highly recommend banking with him. Thank you Andre for taking care of me!

I came to Arapahoe Credit Union because they had the best auto loan rates for what I wanted. I ended up opening an account with them before the loan was even approved, because of my experience during that first visit. I worked with Cynthia and Brenda on getting the auto loan approved and finalized through the car dealership. They both went above and beyond to help me as the dealership was making things a bit more difficult than needed. They provided great customer service and I truly felt cared about as both a customer and new member. Highly recommend visiting ACU for any financial needs. Thank you again to Cynthia and Brenda for helping me with my auto purchase!

I appreciate ACU for having consistently great rates and allowing loan skip a pay easily for the trying times. Customer service is typically friendly, although I had a difficult time getting kindness or professionalism while communicating with Michael Summers. I would love to handle all of my banking needs through ACU but I just don’t have the time or patience to navigate their various less than subpar softwares. Between the very busy, klunky and poor layout of their website, the very limited functionality of their mobile app, and having to pay my loan payment on a completely different third site it’s very time consuming and somehow there’s a fourth online banking portal which is the only place you can see your loan terms, balance, etc. I love the idea of the bank and the benefits but its software inconsistencies and mess have stopped me from doing further banking there.

I have been a customer for over 15 years because of the good customer service. They always are willing to help without having to navigate a painful phone tree. I have had a car loan and never had issues. Most recently Scott helped me with a small issue but went above and beyond.

By far the WORST credit union I’ve ever experienced. From them constantly having issues on their back end to the point I can’t even log in to pay my bill, to no one ever being of any help when calling in to customer service. Not to mention how impossible it is to actually talk to a person. Oh, and if you use them for a car loan be prepared to constantly feel sketched.

After all of these complaints regarding Mike Thomas I cannot believe that he still has a position with Arapahoe Credit Union. He restricts access to your account so it makes it virtually impossible to pay for your car loan. He is rude and condescending. He calls your employer for a “payment reminder” and is even rude and pushy to the receptionist. When asked to not call your place of employer and only your cell regarding personal business he still conducts calls to your employer harassing the receptionist. I have never heard of a bank restricting access to an account even after the account is caught up. When asked if they will give back access the answer is “maybe, we will have to review your account”. As someone who works full time it is super hard for me to call within regular business hours. Mike Thomas either needs more training or for the VP of lending to actually take this employees actions into consideration as promised in a previous review response. When Mike tells you things need to be resolved today don’t expect to actually talk to him on the phone. He will just continue to call your employer or send you extremely vague but at the same time condescending emails. I know I’ll get hit with “we’re local and not for profit so we do not have a lot of resources” as a response to this review. This is pretty common knowledge for most individuals familiar with a credit union. Maybe if Arapahoe Credit Union would take action against Mike Thomas they could allocate more resources to the community.
