Terrible experience. Staff need to learn how to interact with customers in a professional and friendly way. The moment I walked in it felt that I was a bother and wasn't even greeted. Actual DMV was a better experience and more welcoming.

Shar and her staff are all friendly, courteous and have always done a wonderful job tending to my needs even though I never seem to make things easy. Quick & easy. Far more professional than that mean guy in the DMV who rejects paperwork just for kicks & giggles. We pay extra fees, yet if you want to do business where you're treated with respect? Go here Skip that guy at DMV. He rejects paperwork & legal documents based on syntax & punctuation. Or he's literally in bed with that Kenai girl cop.

I needed to Title, license, and register a cargo trailer. The young lady who helped me filled out the correct forms for me, did her business, and I was out of there in less than 10 min. Why can't the DMV be that efficient? So glad AK Express Tags are there. Thank you.

A disappointing experience. After being treated rudely by the condescending employee, I was informed that they wouldn't be able to help me with registering my new trailer because they didn't have the right code for the brand of trailer (even though this trailer company has been in business for almost 70 years) and that they would contact me once they got a code for it. I went to Quick Titles, a few days later, and was helped immediately, (Ak Express never contacted me). I have been to Ak Express many times before and had very good experiences, mostly due to the customer service, but the employee working there that day should not be working with the public.

After having gone to the DMV two or three times having felt shame, anger, frustration, and despair, we decided to try the AK Express. We had the form already filled out from previous DMV visit and upon walking in the door to the Express we were looked at and told “just go to the desk”. What?! No waiting No number to tell me when to be publicly humiliated? I say to myself. I hand the lady my papers and she asks what I need and then scans in some papers, takes my money, and tells me I’m good to go! It was the best experience we’ve had dealing with vehicle s. Thanks!

0 out of 10. I called ahead to ensure they could assist with retitle my deceased fathers vehicles. When I showed up the woman who assisted me with the transaction was condescending, rude and uneducated on the forms which she needed to complete the transaction. I had all applicable legal documents to complete the transaction. The attendant insisted that I was missing a form which I had in my hand notarized. I informed her that she was condescending from the time I walked into the place of business and she was not prepared to help me when I came in. The other attendants were bullying me for expressing my dissatisfaction. All of the employees needed to be more sensitive for people who have lost someone and have to deal with the aftermath.

I like to head to AK express to take care of my DMV needs, there is rarely a line and when there is it moves fast. It is so much better than going to the dmv and sitting around for an hour to get title transferred. my only complant is there used to be at a different location and when they moved I had no idea where they went. If you move your business across town put out a sign or advertise where you went.
