I've called 4 times, and left two contact messages on their web site form and have no return calls in over 7 business days. Do they not have a receptionist? Is everyone out with the flu? Guess I shall go elsewhere.

The entire team, including Alan, always made themselves available and answered all questions thoroughly. They always responded same day, if it was a business day. As with any startup, I'm insanely business and I was admittedly slow getting them information and not once did they complain or get frustrated. Goska did my taxes and her customer service was superb. For that, I'll consider using them again.

My biggest qualm, and the reason I docked a star, was I felt that they mislead on pricing. I'm a ten month old business and they charged me just short of 1,200 to prepare my taxes. I spoke to two individuals who led me to believe I would not pay over 1,000, which imo is still a lot. Alan remedied the situation and was very easy to deal with, when I was shocked by the amount I was charged.

Easily the worst experience I've had with a CPA. lack of communication aside, they over charge you for tax preparation. They do not review your taxes with you, instead tell you to review it for correctness. If I knew that, I wouldn't need a CPA! For business and personal tax preparation, I was charged over 2K! Never had that before. Constantly receive messages from the IRS about money owed and late fees. This place just isn't worth your time or money. Find someone who will actually do a good job and isn't concerned with extorting you for money.

I have worked primarily with Wendy, but also with Alan, and have been impressed with their responsiveness and attention to my personal tax-related needs, as well as any questions I have had. I've also been really pleased with the tax planning Alan assisted with this past year, so I can stay on top of things for the upcoming filing process.
