Having just moved to Colorado, I was excited about living in the Boulder area. We rented from PIC because we liked the house. We should have looked more into who we were renting from. However, as time went on, the maintenance man showed up unannounced several times- walking in one of my roommates in the shower. According to the neighbors, we were expected to purchase lawn equipment and maintain the yard (several neighbors complained about our yard). We felt as tenants, it should have been PIC's concern and not ours. Had they provided the equipment and tools, we would have gladly taken care of this. The yard was completely dead even after we tried numerous times with fertilizer, weed killer, plenty of watering, etc. PIC still had the audacity to RAISE our rent in a home that was well over 30 years old. If they were making repairs that would last or renovations, I could understand.

The house we rented did not have Central A/C and she was rather combative about putting in ceiling fans for us. We were told "they might not work". This made this past summer miserable and even more so because she told us she would not install ceiling fans. Yes, we bought stationary fans, but this could only do so much but move the still air around at ground level.

DO NOT rent from this company. Unprofessional. Any correspondence is met with a condescending and rude undertone. Getting in touch with Brenda is seemingly impossible. If she put as much effort into running a business as she does in treating her tenants like rubbish, she wouldn't have so many negative reviews.

Do not rent from these people or deal with them ever if you do not have to. Brenda is quite possibly the rudest person I have ever met and she is the person who runs this company. We moved into our house and the house was filthy and falling apart. The entire basement had a terrible odor to it. We complained and the house was later cleaned but the carpet was never addressed. Every attempt to talk to Brenda for any reason was met with rudeness and combativeness. She ended up taking most of our deposit for carpet restretching and toilet replacement with no explanation why. There is a reason her leases are 18 pages long, its so she can screw you over because that lease is designed to protect her and take you money and there is nothing you can do about it. DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE

The Mountain View HOA that is associated with PIC is a joke. Brenda Feldman is a pathetic representation of the HOA and the discriminating treatment of the residents is a shame to all HOA's. If they don't "like" you, your property will be the last on the list of maintenance or upgrades for the neighborhood. If you are a good outstanding renter you will be treated like second class just since you rent. KEEP CLEAR!
