Email only communication weekdays from 8am-5pm. Worst experience trying to lease a property I've ever had. I clearly communicated to the half human half bot I was emailed that my lease ran out end of April and I needed a new place quickly. He kept making me resubmit valid documents. The best part? I got approved! At 9am on the 1st, when I was already moving into a different place. Would recommend anyone BUT Evernest

Overall, my experience with Evernest was solid. I signed a 12 month lease in Aug 2023 but unfortunately, due to family reasons, I needed to move out of state. I worked with Silvia throughout this process and Silvia was the best contact I could’ve asked for. Extremely responsive, helpful, and honest. I wouldn’t have made it through the process without her help. The reason for 4 out of 5 stars has nothing to do with Silvia’s assistance - as she was wonderful. The reason for 4 has to do with the amount of time it took to find a new tenant to replace me (about 4 months). However, this can partly be attributed to holiday timing as it was Nov -> Feb.

This company didn’t respond to my emails or text messages. I was approved and wanted to know how to remit the $300 reservation fee to hold the property. I was trying to get an answer for 2 days. To no avail I just received an email today that someone else remitted deposit before me. So if they keep everyone’s application fees or whatever others fees they collect without any communication I believe that is unethical. Be aware of who you deal with especially after downloading all your financial information.

Maria Severin is a customer service/account representative. Her client relations are above and beyond what would normally be expected. She is thorough and detail oriented and looks at issues from all aspects. She is extremely professional while yet ensures that each client receives individual attention. Absolutely horrible. Disappointing and disrespectful staff.
No organization or communication. Constantly getting random fees with no explanation. No help with maintenance in a timely fashion. Bad management with no consideration for clients. Constant back and forth with "middle man" level management even regarding minor quick fixes. Our water heater exploded in Jan 2022 and it took days to get help with the flooding and replacement. Our other neighbors even had to get involved to help us get their attention. No regard for tenant health and safety. When we moved out, they charge us for carpet replacement, even though after the flooding we asked for that. Not our fault! But they used our money for it. Horrible customer service. Blamed us for leaving stain, paint, and other tools in the apartment when we left that was there upon move in. Disappointing and disrespectful. I would NEVER recommend renting from Evernest.

DO NOT RENT WITH EVERNEST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT! The worst property management company I've ever worked with... and that's a bold statement. If I could give negative stars, I would. They will do anything and everything to take your money and you will not receive sufficient service in return. This company is shady - want to talk to someone on the phone? Impossible, will go to voicemail each time. They will only communicate via email and with poor response times at that.

Sylvia is the most unresponsive and unknowledgeable property manager I have had the displeasure of working with. She will give you wrong answers, and often will take 1+ weeks to get back to you. She does not care about the well-being of her tenants and it is reflected in her inability to communicate sufficiently.

This company tricked me - I was an amazing tenant for 2 years, and as I attempted to resign the lease they put me through the wringer, stating that income verifications could not go through due to their OVERLY specific requirements. I was never late on rent and guarantee I make enough money to afford. They ILLEGALLY refused to provide details on the rejection, and refused to work with myself and tenants to ensure all information was provided. They will give you false information with no documentation to validate. They will kick you out of your home with little warning and no valid reason. BEWARE!!

I would not give a dime to this property management company if I were you.
