Stayed for 3 nights in order to ski 3 of the Aspen mountains. An enjoyable stay overall. Stayed in an executive suite on the 3rd floor. The room was big with a separate living area and a mostly full kitchen set-up. We did not cook but you certainly could. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and big (shower only). The front desk was helpful and accommodating with little things like getting ice (there are no ice machines in the hotel) and restaurant recommendations. Mezzaluna is worthy of a meal and Westbound and Down has great beer (Juice Caboose) if you are going out in the little shopping district. There’s a Whole Foods next door and a paved trail to run/walk post skiing as well. The morning breakfast was pretty good and had some very nice touches like homemade breakfast burritos (big shout out for this). They also had a free small happy hour Monday night. The gym and hot tub were clean, easy and overall this was just a really, enjoyable more affordable option than Aspen proper. There is some minor road noise if your room faces the highway but that’s minor compared to the hotel’s overall excellence. Would definitely stay again.

Such a great value for the Aspen area. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Although I was staying alone I believe families would be very suited to this property. Ana greeted me at the front desk on check in. She was always extremely friendly and helpful, made great suggestions and always had excellent information about the hotel. I extended online via a separate reservation and before I could confirm my room with her, she greeted me by name and presented me with the new key cards. She knows and demonstrates hospitality. Chey was the night reception and she was always just as helpful and friendly. All of the staff from the breakfast crew to the evening social hour attendant were always doing a great job and making guests feel welcome. I was very impressed with the equipment provided in the fully stocked kitchen for my room. I’ve stayed with my wife in the finest named properties in Aspen many times and rarely felt as valued as I did at the Element Basalt. Also the bus to the ski areas is literally 1 minute walk just behind the hotel. Whole Foods also a 1 minute walk for stocking your kitchen. With an unlimited hot breakfast included, you won’t need much. Book your stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I stayed here when my brother and I went to the Palm Tree Fest in Aspen and it was great! Staff was super helpful and the bus picked up right outside of the hotel and dropped off in the heart of Aspen. The bed was so comfortable and also walking distance to some cute shops including Whole Foods and Starbucks. Would recommend!

I stayed at the Element on business trip. It is surrounded by a shopping center that has everything you could possibly need from restaurants to a dry cleaner and Whole Foods market. The hotel itself is small but packed with a punch, it too, has everything you could possibly need. The Element is modern and clean and offers a complimentary breakfast. My only gripe was, I had a room facing the freeway and at rush- hour times I could hear the traffic.

I've stayed here three times for work. It's a great hotel. Very clean. Great staff. Breakfast is ok. Decent I'd say. Location is great tho so there are plenty of places to walk to eat. We stay here during x games which is like a 25 min drive so great for that. Highly recommend.

We stay at the Element fairly often traveling for our kids sports.
The staff is friendly and helpful. Particularly this last Feb 8th and 9th we needed some extra help and the man at the front desk went out of his way to help us. It was very appreciated.
The hotel is always clean and well maintained. The breakfast is very good and the common areas are very comfortable.
Be aware that the pricing varies greatly depending on the time of year.

Fairly new hotel located near Aspen on the main highway. Room was somewhat small but well appointed. The counter space in the bathroom is extremely limited. It was quiet with some highway noise. Plenty of free parking which is unusual in a resort area

I have stayed here many times and without fail this place is magical. Carlos leads a great team of people very professional very kind. This is my favorite place to stay in Colorado. It’s warm cozy and everything is right at your finger tips.
