This may be a bit late of a review, been a few days, but the fact I’ve remembered to write a review at all is a real testament to the good experience I had while searching for insurance in Lakewood.
Met with Leslie, she’s friendly and professional, helped me promptly when I came into the Colfax location. She very easily helped me figure out just what insurance type and budget actually would work for me, we ended up settling on broadform, which I never knew of.
From start to finish it was a pleasant experience, which I wasn’t expecting, even got to chat about our pets a bit, even further easing the signing of papers, and legal side of things.

So thanks a ton Leslie, you made getting insurance a genuinely worthwhile experience.

Terrible experience. I worked with Steve Ehler in correcting my insurance after adjusting it for closing. He managed to increase my total coverage and my premium but also increased my deductible(nearly doubled) I was unaware of this as zero communication was given until I needed to file a home insurance claim, that is when I find out I have an $8k deductible. When reaching out to Steve directly he was incredibly dismissive and didn’t care to help me at all. Just said it was out of his hands. When I asked why this was not communicated to me he said the insurance company should have communicated with me, mind you the insurance company had completely changed since closing which I was also not informed of. Very frustrating and disappointing situation as I am now out over $8,000 due to this mix up and had to fight my insurance company for 10 weeks to get any payment at all with zero acknowledgement of a mistake made. Highly recommend staying far away from this company

EDIT due to response from owner - I was never informed that my deductible was increased I was told it was lowered to $1000 and Steve acknowledged in an email that he was unaware that the deductible increased until I reached out and then ceased all communication when I asked what we could do to fix this. Not only that but the communication was terrible, I had someone reach out promising to look into this and never got back to me. I signed documentation to lower my deductible not increase it.
