I'd leave zero stars if I could. What an awful customer service experience as someone who purchased a vehicle and paid of a lien from a current member at this credit union. If you want to bang your head against a wall and sit on hold, become a member here. Very little support even when you do get someone on the phone.

I have been banking with CUofCO since 2020 and I can NOT recommend them to anyone. It has just been one problem after another after another. I will be leaving them as soon as I get my affairs in order with a new credit union.

Edit to respond to "response from the owner": No, it's way too late for that. I have been having issues making transfers from external sources for too long now, and you have done nothing to resolve my issues. Even if you magically resolved this issue today, there has been a pattern of problems from CUofCO that points to a lack of quality control for union members. I was denied the ability to activate my own debit card because I was not the "primary" on my joint account only to find out it was because you mistakenly switched my debit card with my partner's debit card. Then I continued getting emails addressed to my old name despite going through a painful process of changing my name with your organization. And now the ability to transfer from external bank accounts has been broken for weeks because of your botched trusted device system rollout. As soon as I get my affairs in order with another credit union, I will closing my account with CUofCO.

Went into the branch to open a new joint account. The guy that greeted us said do you have an appointment and acted like it was an issue and said Well I have a couple of other people coming in with appointments. I said I have never heard of making appointments just to open an account and he said they started doing that post covid, I said Well the pandemic is over, his respond was I SAID POST Covid. I asked my father if he still wanted to open an account. Then the clerk said do you want to open an account or not? and I said we will pass, and I told him that when you say things like I SAID POST COVID it pisses people off. Both the appointment thing and the employees' attitude was a warning to stay away from this bank. They aren't customer focused; I'm glad I found out now.

I've been at this bank for over 10 years it's not the same it's actually gotten a lot worse. Don't even get me started about trying to get things handled over the phone. Customer service is not existent now!

I have been a customer for alot of years here and the customer service I received at this this location today has been the worst service! I dont know the name of the girl that was behind the desk but she was not helpful and was upset that she had to re write a check 3 different times because she couldn’t spell. No thank you is that all I can do for you she just dis missed what if I needed some thing else she was of no assistance to me worst help ever!

I came in today, Adrian helped me out with so much support and a lot of information I wasn’t aware of. They made the process not dreadful and were very wholesome and very nice. Adrian Deserves a raise haha or something he really guided me more than a lot of people would these days. Very happy, honored and excited to be a member of Credit Union of Colorado. ❤️
