I was Inconvenienced by your property management office. My water heater has been broken for a month and trying to reach out to your office to schedule a time for maintenance to come out and shut off the water to be fixed was ridiculous. I was in contact with Debbie Alson and she was polite and helpful throughout the process. However, it took 3 full days to hear anything back from their office once I found a reliable plumber to try to schedule a date and time that worked for the HOA. That means I have not had hot water in my house FOR A MONTH. Also, Thomas Biggs spoke to me in such a disgusting manner about my problem basically blaming me for his poor time and management skills while belittling me and speaking to me like a child. Next time you decide to manage a property maintenance office, you should actually help your HOA owners and solve their problems, not just hiding behind your computer screen until the problem grows bigger.

I am not the only complaint about this office, and I totally agree with Ellen Westerdale and her experience with GPM.

Again, I would like to reiterate, Debbie was very polite and helpful but hard to get a hold of. My biggest complaint is with Thomas Biggs and how unprofessional and disrespectful he is. He will ruin this company with how he treats people.

I can't help questioning the authenticity of the good reviews because GPM is the worst property management company that I have encountered as a resident and board member. They were good under the previous ownership and before their most experienced employees resigned after the company was sold. Since Mitch bought the company and put Thomas in charge of our community, they have been horrible. I could write a book about all of the problems that we have had and the complaints that we got from residents, but I doubt Google will allow this review to be that long. Beware, GPM changed our ARC forms (without our permission or knowledge) to add an application fee that had to be paid in cash for owners to submit along with their ARC form. We found out and obligated them to eliminate the fee, as we never charged a fee previously and GPM was simply doing this to generate incremental reveue for the management company, but this was part of the scope of service included in our management contract. GPM also increased the monthly management fee without notice even though we had a contract with a set amount. When we confronted Mitch with this over-charge, he said he would "be nice" and deduct the over-charged amount when he takes out his next payment. Since it took us several months to notice the over-charge, we were owed a substantial amount of money, which would never have been returned had we not pursued it. As a property manager, Thomas did as little as possible and basically wanted the board members to do his job for him by sourcing vendors for quotes and taking pictures of violations. All he does is drop off and pick up ARC forms. We often have to repeatedly request him to address issues or violations, which he claims he didn't see. Most recently, we learned that he doesn't plan to attend the board meeting tonight due to a "conflict", despite the fact that the meeting has been on our calendar since last January. We are switching management companies in January so it has become evident that GPM is just trying to get through this last month without doing any work although they intend to collect their full management fee. What a nightmare they have been! Mitch will probably deny all of this. Residents and board members in our community can easily corrobarate my statements.
