I lived in an apartment for 2 years before PTP management took over. The previous management replaced my windows due to mold accumulation, had the apartment appraised and my rent was never raised. After less than a year with PTP- who never reached out, or inspected the unit- my rent was raised over 20% with no explanation. When I reached out they listed things that had been done over the past 10 years, according to other tenants (who’s rents were not raised). One of the things noted was laundry machines being replaced, which tenants have to pay to use anyway, and none of which were fully operational, as they bought them used. None of the “obvious improvements” were actually working for my unit and they had begun renovating units as squatters moved out which is why I believe my rent was raised. I moved out to anvoid further strife and with no explanation received less than half of my security deposit back. I had scrubbed the unit clean despite knowing the unit would be renovate after essentially being forced out. The unit manager blamed the owner and would not respond to my emails further. When I tried to escalate concerns over the phone I was told we could only communicate through email. I will never rent from a property under their management again. I would give 0 stars if I could these managers let drug dealing squatters live in the unit of a deceased tenant for months with no updates as I complained of screams coming from the unit in the middle of the night. Cars were broken into very frequently (mine twice in my 3 years), and one vehicle stolen from the parking lot. The only form of mediation was parking spots being assigned. For this they made tenants go to the office to receive a parking pass during very inconvenient business hours because a paper had to be signed- otherwise your vehicle would be towed. Rent from them at your own risk.
