This used to be my favorite branch. The drive thru was always super fast and the employees are very nice. Ever since they put the new atm/video teller machines in there has been issues EVERY TIME we come. Either they're rebooting or an employee is outside trying to fix the machine. The "upgrade" was a serious downgrade.

Was in a rush and forgot to grab my cash from the ATM. Thankfully no one grabbed it and they were able to put a note on my account and make sure the money made it back in my account when they audited the atm.

Also their line/indoor service has always been fast for me. If you do in-person banking on a busy time of month/week, you're going to have a wait anywhere, but at least when I went & there was a long line, they had a full staff of tellers and it went very fast.

No, I don't trust myself to remember the right way to use their drive through so I haven't bothered with that in years ?

I don't know if its just this branch or if all of CU1 is horrible now, but I've had pretty much exclusively bad experiences with the tellers here refusing to look into the question before blurting out the first answer that sounds like it could be right. Guess what? They were wrong and it almost got my account frozen due to one teller's refusal to do her job. The entire system change they did makes every aspect of the process over twice as Iong, I've asked to speak with the manager to answer questions that the tellers didn't seem to know, and she avidly refused to get out of her chair. (Assistant branch manager if I'm to understand the positions correctly) nobody here actually lifts a finger to do their job barring one very friendly guy at the front. Always had a great experience with him, wish I had his name but you can't always get the teller you like.

When I ask to talk to a manager politely and upfront. Id like to have my concerns addressed. Instead I was Interrogated and told I was making accounting mistake. I was told I had insignificant funds, Multiple times. I was able to not only visibly show I had, the funds but definitely as a member I should have been treated in a different manner. I was able to figure out that the employe who had originally input my loan paper would had incorrectly put in my account number. Which was not my fault. As they had processed my payment with me in the branch. But over the course of the next 5 months not once was I made aware of this until I tried to trust my auto payment process instead of calling and making sure its paid. I will never go to a smaller branch than the main office off of Dimond and Abbott from now on. If you are considering getting an auto loan with CU1 I would have to suggest reconsidering after the experiences I've been having.

I left Alaska USA Federal Credit Union due to long waits in line. Now years later, Credit Union 1 has adopted this same model as Alaska USA.

Even worse, when I call to get an update as to why my remote deposit hasn’t been posted from two days ago, Rodney pointedly asked, “Did you sign your name, write your account number, and write ‘remote deposit’ on the back of the check.” I wrote ‘For Deposit Only’ and he said they won’t process the deposit if “remote” isn’t on there.

GOOD GRIEF, PEOPLE!!!

My name is printed on the check, the account number matches an account with my name on it, and the signature looks like the signature on the account signature card. What? Are criminals depositing checks into random accounts they have no control over. ?

Glad we’re leaving this credit union. ?

Good bye, Credit Union 1!!! ?

I have really like banking with CU1. Employees are professional. The wait here can be a little long. Especially the drivethru (took a year before I figured out how to get to it). There can be a group of transient people milling around after hours. Usually the same couple people every time. They are friendly and seem harmless. I’ve never had issues with any of them but could make some avoid ATM after hours.
