Jill and her team were amazing to work with. Jill really explains things very well and had a great knowledge of tax law and the impact on her clients. She listens very well and was able to answer all of my questions to ensure that I understood my tax implications. She and her team were thorough and professional. I knew exactly when to drop off my information and when then would be complete because the office scheduled the process. It was extremely easy. I've used Jill Jacobs & Company CPA firm for my business, and for my personal tax matters. Jill and her staff have always been responsive, capable and professional in each of my many encounters. I would recommend finding some one more reliable then this person, my boyfriend owes a bit in tax debt and everytime we tried to get a hold of her always voice mail, 1 and 2 the drive to her location is quite far 3 she just up and dropped him with out notifying him as well as some how adding another 4k on top of what was owed? I recommend finding some one else who will prioritize you and at the very least have the nerve to call you and say hey I'm dropping this client rather then finding out threw the tax board.

My IRS / FTB tax forms are pretty basic. Nothing fancy. In the past I was paying $400 at Jill's (and knew it was probably too high, but ... just to be sure). This year I was quoted $750. My forms and pretty clear cut, nothing fancy. I decided to go to an AARP volunteer in the area. The supervisor couldn't believe I was quoted $750. Anyway, should have gone (will go) with AARP from now on. Sent them a $100 donation .. worth it. I like Jill and Co. and had been going to her for more than 10 years. Still, on a tight pension I had to look around. Seniors: Lots of free help out there.
