My experience with this management company was horrible and I didnโ€™t even live in the apts. I applied to sublease and got denied back in 2021. Come 2024 when Iโ€™m ready to move to a complex (not living there or moving there) I got a denial letter from the new place I was looking at because it said I owed these apts 803$!! I didnโ€™t even live there. I got denied. So I call and go through ALL the phone numbers and emails back and forth for two weeks with them for them to remove it off my credit. I had to email the VP in Houston to finally get things taken care of. I hope to NEVER have to deal with them again.

Gail at Central Park. Beautiful building opened 2022 for affordable low income housing with a low income housing tax credit to seniors with a cola of 3 to 5% per year. The first year asset living came in, they raised our rent 17%. The next year they raised it 14% driving people out; while renting to smokers and not enforcing it. August 2023, I sent a certified Request for Remedy, with medical letters from my doctor stating, I required to smoke free environment because I have a rapid accelerating progressive lung disease. Secondhand smoke is the #1 preventable cause of death WORLDWIDE. They don't care. I had to get the City involved. And filed a HUD discrimination complaint; in contact with my Senator and pursuing contact at the White House. Biden had been working in Congress to cap corporate landlords rent increases to 5% or lose their federal tax credit. Kamla Harris has it as a n umber one priority because there is price fixing and price gouging are creating more homelessness. The DOJ antitrust case against Real Page leads you to the legal site for the class action and asset living is #5 on that list. Of special interest is The year before the huge rent increases started, Seldin was the property manager and they are not on the class action list. Gardner capital got the very competitive low income housing tax credit... Heads up. They don't care and they've proven it since the day I moved in.

The senior complex in Melissa, Tx has failed their residents. There is mold in some apartments and not being addressed. Roaches are in some apartments and also have not been addressed. Pedestrian gates with codes remain unlocked 99% of the time, how is that safe for residents. Office staff sent out a notice a couple of months back telling residents to not complain to the office. The office is a business. This complex has been through so many different staff members. The ones that are working the office now, are not very compassionate or respectful to the residents. This complex use to be really nice when they first opened.

I have been calling and emailing for 5 months to get my deposit returned and they agreed that I would get a portion of it back. I moved out in February. Now they no longer manage the apartments so I have to go through the new management company. They lack accountability and the ability to communicate properly. It's a highly unprofessional situation. Be cautious.

They donโ€™t care about their properties or their tenants. They allow their tenants to live with water damage from faulty pipes and terrible foundations. And mold and no matter how many times you contact them about issues they nor their proprieties do anything about it.
