Patti and team are outstanding and have handled our company's accounting and taxes for years. They are small so yes, it may take a while to hear back from the them but I feel it is worth it for the personalized service. Regarding the Data Breach, unfortunately this is reality today. My background is tech and trust me when I say we all must work as a team to mitigate the constant barrage of attacks; get a monitoring service, turn on credit freezes, etc. And Patti has made some very appropriate upgrades to their security as well; please use their secure portal as a client ...bit of a pain but totally worth it!!

Patricia and her team are great people who offer a first class personalized service. I came to them after letting some tax issues slide over some time and finally decided to take action and get them resolved. The service I received was first class and the issues I had were dealt with expeditiously and professionally. A five star service!

We used this office for a few years, and things got worse every year. Eventually they stopped returning calls and emails. They lost my financial information on a security failure and never apologized. They went up on their prices AFTER THE SECURITY BREACH. I don't feel that my tax info is safe with Patty Maguire.

Please ask questions before trusting this CPA. Ask how much she will raise her fees each year. Get it in writing. Her office lost our personal data in a security breach and then raised fees the next year. We had to find someone more trustworthy.

We found a mistake that was going to make us pay $6000. Had to call many times for updates and he said he was going to correct it and we could drive in and sign. Drove in 3 days later just to find out they did not correct their error. He doesn't even remember talking to us. Said he would correct it and call back. Still haven't heard from him. Not recommended

Patty's office lost our family's identity information in a computer security breach. We got a formal letter, no apology, and they doubled the fee for tax prep the next year. I guess they couldn't care less.

I hate to be the one to leave a bad review, but I feel inclined to do so at this point. My husband and I have used this office for two years now. Last year we had a few minor issues when we filed our taxes here but our questions were answered promptly and the problems were taken care of. We decided to use them again. I am not sure what happened this year. We filed our taxes, paid for the service and when we got our return we had some issues. This time, the issues involved a portion of our return missing. We tried multiple times to contact Patricia directly, along with her assistant and her “front desk staff.” Every time we called we were told she was in meetings all day. We have left notes with front desk regarding the problem and they would take our name and number down but we would get nothing for days. We have emailed the CPA with no response. I finally got upset and left a voicemail requesting they call us. Still nothing!!! All we wanted to do was ask questions, collect some information, and find out what we need to do to get this straightened out — Given we pay hard earned money for the tax services here. It is just disappointing to me that people think this is an acceptable way to do business, especially when all we have ever done is recommend people to this business. I am aware it is tax season and this is a busy time of year. But almost an entire month of no call backs or concerns from the CPA here, we have no choice but to think that Patricia took our money and then washed her hands of us. This issue happened because of something during the filing process, which we never even saw because they have decided to no longer offer, “in person” services. I would think you, as a business owner, would want to make it right, but apparently not here. Alas, we will no longer be customers of this office and we will no longer refer our friends and family. This is absolutely no way to treat return customers!

I do not like leaving bad reviews, but I feel like it’s my obligation to warn people about this office. We filed with them in 2021 for 2020 taxes, paid our fees promptly and all was well! Office staff was quick and efficient and very kind. Fast forward 6 weeks and we still haven’t gotten a refund. I called the IRS and turns out my refund has been stolen. I panic and start calling the office to find out what’s happened. 3 WEEKS AND DOZENS OF CALLS LATER I finally get a call from Patricia stating they’d had a data breach at her office & a bunch of clients from her office had also been victims of theft not just us. I understand bad people do bad things, truly I do, but id already been in contact with the IRS and found this out on my own. She offered to file all the paperwork to remedy the situation and sent it in by mail. The only consolation we were given was 6 months of identity theft protection that they signed us up for. After months of back and fourth with “front desk” giving incorrect information we made an appointment with the IRS in January of 2022……still no refund for 2020, and now because of this identity theft issue, our 2021 return is delayed. Each time I call I am told she’s in meetings all day and can’t talk to me. I’m also told I’ll be put on “the list” of clients she will check on when she calls the IRS. I’ve been told I’m on “the list” for months. Absolutely nothing has come from this decision to support a local business. I have been lied to, given incorrect information, and completely brushed off since June of 2021. I have paid for a service that has burdened myself and my husband financially & nothing has been done to remedy it. Buyers beware, use a big company instead of this business. You’re more likely to actually get the help you need.
