This is a message for Katie at the office in Fallbrook. You definitely need communication skills …you lack on communication Severely especially when it comes to changes, you don’t reach out to the client unless the client reaches out to you. you fail constantly to return phone calls multiple times you’re very dishonest and you’re nowhere near to be trusted. I don’t care how many years you’ve been working at that office or doing what you do but you’re definitely forgetful I don’t know what you’re smoking but you definitely need to properly communicate when there is an error on your end and admit to your mistakes rather than blaming the client. Because only you know where the moneys going and I hope it’s not on your lips because they definitely don’t look right .you need to be professional and be nice to clients you never know when I might be taking care of one of your family members. As a first responder we encounter all types of personalities difficult situations and no matter what we provide Quality care to our patients no matter their background, Or there situation may be.

No wonder you people at Allstate are on A class action lawsuit ha ha ha great job of.

For the person that didn’t answer my call this afternoon you’re very unprofessional rather than answering questions you’re too lazy and your mouth talks over you so you rather hang up then answer any questions to the public. I don’t know what makes you think you have more authority than anyone in this world. You’re just a person answering phone calls sitting on your ass and you sure in the hell don’t scare me this is the sign of the time don’t mess with people you don’t know I don’t appreciate your big mouth that has nothing good to say besides have a good day and don’t answer questions lazy ass. Don’t be bother because we Didn’t continue business with Allstate for our vehicles not just one multiple including Corvettes so we’re not broke. Sounds like you had a little bit too much coffee or a little bit maybe sniffing too much of whatever you do maybe you should slow down and answer the questions that are asked to the public. Conduct yourself in a more professional manner especially when you work with an insurance company. Coming from a family business owners you don’t outsmart me. Ha ha ha my best friend works for Allstate not for that office. Small world can’t wait to run into you by the way.

A strike-out when they could have had a home run!

This agency did very little to follow through on requests for a return call, provided no customer loyalty, and Katie was completely devoid of empathy as I navigated the estate process for a loved one who passed — a longtime insured with this agency.

Being a past insurance agent and knowing there may be questions of insurability interest upon her death, I notified them within 10 days of her passing, which ends up penalizing the estate as I receive notices that policy is being non-renewed due to her death.

If anyone knows the insurance market in California, it’s difficult to get new policies written at an affordable price and the choice to non-renew these policies puts undue pressure on the surviving family to source policies before their renewal or avoid having a lapse in coverage which could be quite costly in the near or long-term. My hope was that they would ‘go to bat’ for their insured and her family, but this was a ‘strike-out’ when they could have had a ‘home run’

Calls to check on the policy status’ after receiving the non-renewal paperwork in the mail were unanswered for 7 days and required me to initiate multiple calls to try and get any communication with the Katie or Ross. When I finally got a call from Katie, I wasn’t as bothered with the bad news as I was with her complete lack of empathy and emotional intelligence. She snapped at me and made snide comments as I discussed the intricacies of the issues with her. I was polite and explained my frustration with this decision in the hopes that it would create a way for them to understand the effects this decision has and possibly a new way to look at it from an underwriting perspective. Katie’s completely dismissive and unapologetic way of handling this interaction has led to the loss of business for Allstate and for the Ross E. Curtis’ agency.
