Horrible service. Been on two 45 min waits this week in an attempt to pay my car loan with no assistance. Furthermore, when desperately calling any other extensions in hopes SOMEONE would help, It was always "sorry sir, can't do it" I have a very busy life and do not have the time to wait a hour plus on hold. Now I'm worried my credit is going to take a hit at absolutely no fault of my own. This is beyond frustrating, I have the money for my payment but this excuse of a bank won't take it. Even my pleas with the call center to at least notate my account that I have been attempting to pay were denied. Regretful of ever refinancing here strictly based on atrocious customer service.

Hello everyone me and my partner have had and account with cal coast for over 2 years, my partner recently had gotten a call from cal coast asking if a $200 dollar purchase for groceries in LOUISIANA through Apple Cash was her (mind you we live in San Diego) when she said the purchase wasn’t her they told her not to use her card for a couple days and to speak to a representative when the bank opened after MLK day. My partner checked her saving balance and there was a little over 6 THOUSAND DOLLARS taken out of her saving account!!! She called cal coast and immediately went in person again, they showed her that the hacker had taken 2 grand at first then the next one was 4 grand which is unbelievable!!! They told my partner that she would get her money back in 5 to 10 days and they they would close that account and make a new one but she didn’t want to because how does a bank let that happen without notifying her and stopping such a big transaction. They then had her dispute the charges. Not only that this happened to MUlTIPLE PEOPLE, who knows how much money they lost as well. 2 days later they give my partner a call saying they can’t give her her money back and that she should file a police report. UNBELIEVABLE and DISAPPOINTING! If has happened to anyone else recently or you have been through this with cal coast please help how do we go about this?

Customer service isn't the best at all. Phone hold time is outrageous. I have been waiting to speak with someone for over thirty mins. This is ridiculous. Let's do besttet California Coast!! Think twice people before giving them your money!!

Opened a new account for a "free" $100, no more than 2 weeks later my account was used for $160 worth of redbox, i called and they refunded me the $160 but then about a week later my account was negative -$160 because they couldnt recover the funds and still send me letters in the mail to pay it back. so absurd, and the way i found out it was negative was because i had been putting money into the account and one day i went to go use it and it declined so when i checked i saw they made the account negative. The only way i can try and get my money back is, "writing a letter" to the big boss or whatever. thats all they told me. so upsetting

Why would anyone want an account here if no one even bothers to answer the phone . Hung up after 11 minutes of waiting called back and is now going on 15 minutes. Had some questions to ask but not even worth it if this is how they manage their branch.

I had the experience of fraud for About 1800 dollars, but they didn’t back me up, and they denied my claim. I thought FDIC is supposed be there for such occasions. I was left with a little over a dollar between my checking and savings. What a big disappointment.
