I have been a client of Stephan Mueller for 10 years. I could not be more satisfied with all he has done for me. As typical life events started to unfold my tax issues became increasing more complex. For example a withdrawal from my 401A to cover the down payment on my new home and the depreciation on rental property to include expenses, losses and after sale capital gains tax. I found myself in need of a knowledgeable professional to sort out the ever changing tax laws. Stephan researched applicable tax issues and provided an estimated tax liability payment schedule so I could avoid any financial penalties. Stephen's excellent communication skills allows him to provide clear explanation of tax implications easy for my understanding. Stephen is detail orientated and meticulous in his approach to tax preparation, e-filing of tax documents as well as security. I always felt that the privacy and security of personal information was protected and that all subsequent correspondence was encrypted and stored securely. Worst professional experience I've ever had. I did make the mistake of hiring this guy and will not be using his services again. As a new business owner, I do have a lot of questions to which I was given a full explanation of his political views - but no answers to my tax questions. Despite getting all of my information (and Pay$MENT) to him in a timely manner - my taxes were filed late. When I called him about this on April 17th (after no communication beyond cashing my check...) he was so rude and disrespectful, basically telling me that the taxes were not going to be ready and if I didn't like it that was just too bad.
DO NOT HIRE THIS FIRM.

!!!!!!!!!!!MUST READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called to ask a question about my complex tax situation this year and make a consultation but he cut me off mid sentence extremely rudely and said he would not answer and questions until he files my taxes or I pay him a deposit.

I normally never write reviews and I don't really care but this guy is something else. How am I supposed to allow him to understand my scenario without him even listening much less being so rude. Much better CPAs out there, dont settle for this guy.
