The Tax Tiger Team did phenomenal work for me and achieved an exceptionally favorable result with the IRS on my behalf.
I had been in contact with 2 other tax resolution companies before selecting the Tax Tiger California Bay Area office (Fairfield, CA).
I really benefited from having access to Tax Tiger’s legal expertise and deep knowledge of the IRS and their overall practical guidance in working with the IRS. My son Adrian used Tax Tiger / Julia Dunbar for his tax filings etc. He's had a terrible experience due to Tax Tiger filing his taxes incorrectly, and has cost him thousand's of dollars, and countless hours of his time. My son Adrian helps myself and his mother (who has Alzheimer's ) financially and with a lot of his time and care. Being the age of 85, my wife 86 Adrian is our primary care taker, and he's the only person we have to do so. The reason I'm writing this review is because Tax Tiger / Julia Dunbar has effected my life in a very negative way. Adrian can't help us as much financially right now, or spend as much time with us due to the problems Tax Tiger has imposed on him. I'm looking forward to him getting through this mess, so he can help us like h we're accustomed to.
How does it affect me Julia Did you not read my review?!? You've affected my entire family, by screwing up my sons tax return! Cost him thousands of dollars & countless hours of his time fixing YOUR screw up!
You can keep on tying to remove my review on your business, but I can do this all day, all week, all month, and all year!!

I wish there was a 0 star rating I could put in! Tax Tiger / Julia Dunbar is by far the absolute worst tax attorney / tax service on the planet!! She waited to the last minute to prepare our tax return, and even sublet it out to someone else down in LA without notifying us! This is also after a 6 month extension granted by the IRS due to being in a disaster relief area! Once the tax return was complete, Julia looked it over, and approved it! Both these incompetent people missed the fact that insurance pay out for loss of personal property, is not to be considered income! This is CPA / tax attorney 101 stuff! So now we have the IRS, and the CDTFA threatening property & bank liens against us. We took our business elsewhere, and cost us $4,100.00 to fix Tax Tiger's screw up, but we've gone from owing $24,000.00 to getting back $25,000.00. Julia refuses to refund us our money, and now I have to sue her in court! The only thing Julia Dunbar cares about is getting YOUR money! Stay FAR FAR away from this company!

Julia,
I do not usually post but I feel that I have to respond to your post as some of what you stated is incorrect. We did originally send you the bulk of our 2022 documents, including the P&L, back in March of 2023. You state that the insurance payment was not clearly identified on the P&L, when it is. I’m not sure how much clearer “Property Loss Insurance Proceed” could be on a line all by itself. You also state we did not raise any questions prior to signing. We most certainly did! We sent you a list of many things we questioned on the return, the main one being the insurance payment being classified as income. We had a group phone call with you and your preparer to discuss all the things we listed. We trusted you as professionals to tell us what was correct. We had no choice but to sign and file at that point as we were on the 3rd revision of the return and down to the very last minute to get it in on time. Further investigation on our part led to show that you were incorrect about the insurance payout being income. You did offer to amend the tax return, but since this was such a big error, that would have been a huge financial burden on us, we had lost faith in you at that point. We decided to go with another company, so they could review the entire return for correctness, not just this one item.

This company of professionals is wonderful to work with! They are loving, determined and Consistent. Through this LONG battle of IrS debt and frustration, Mrs. Dunbar and her team softened the blow with their customer service and to top it all off THEY SAVED US 91% on our past due tax debt!! (Real life testimony! We owed an insane amount and settled for the equivalent of 2 months rent!)

I had federal tax return problems spanning a 5-year period, and the staff at Tax Tiger were diligent and super-professional in the handling of my case. They kept me informed any time they met with or talked with the IRS. It took over a year to resolve the case, but I never worried. If I ever had a worry, they responded to my calls and emails in a timely manner. In the end, my liability was reduced by about 95%. I was so relieved and happy with their help. I cannot recommend them enough.
