If I could provide zero stars, I would. This is the worst refinance loan process I have experienced. I was unaware that Agriculture Federal Credit Union used a third party to process home loans. Interested in the loan since the interest rate was low, I initially applied. Three weeks went by (May 2019) and no one contacted me with the status of the loan. I will admit, I made some mistakes through the process. As of today, I still haven't closed on the loan. It appears that I am asked for additional paperwork everyday. Run for the hills. If you are interested in a home loan from Agriculture Federal Credit, you will have to provide your life history. This process is ridiculous.

I had a great experience with the team at CU Mortgage in having them Refi and now service my mortgage. It's the third month of them servicing my mortgage and I couldn't be happier to be with an institution that offers great rates, provided flexibility (with an existing HELOC) and is a local Co. that will not sell my note to another institution.
This morning I was signing into my account and saw the low stars, I wanted to offer a counterpoint to what I assume are unsophisticated persons regarding finance.

FIVE STARS FOR BEING AN a--h-l-. Talked to Roger at CUMA 2/16/2023 at 4:00pm. He was the most obnoxious person I talked to. Won't answer my questions. He won't listen and kept on talking. He seemed to get me off his back. Very very rude tone. When I told him that he hung up on me. How did he get hired Does CUMA train retards like him CUMA needs to let him go. Giving very bad impression of CUMA. He needs to act professionally or find a job at prison or cemetery.

I had a great experience with this company when shopping for a mortgage. Eric Goldberg helped me throughout the process. He was very responsive and kept me up to date. I really felt that he cared about trying to get me the best deal he was able to manage and that wasn't the feeling I had gotten from other lenders. Definitely recommend!

Currently working on a deal with this company. Terrible communication. Appraisal was never followed up on by assistance and my calls regarding the status were never returned. As the listing agent, I am allowed to know the status of the Borrower's loan (not asking for the specifics) just the status and that everything was progressing smoothly. Lender (will not name names) would not talk to me, give me ANY information, was RUDE over the phone AND HUNG up on me. I NEVER leave bad reviews, but this is ridiculous.

This is the worst company. Specifically Mr. Griffin Canada. He lacks professionalism, incompetent, and RUDE. I was pre approved for a home mortgage loan. Now approximately 2 weeks later I was informed that I no longer qualify. Mr. Canada missed vital information. He didn’t apologize for his error. In addition, lack of effective communication. This is unacceptable as I’ve started the process to sell my home. Mr. Canada didn’t apologize for his mistake and was quite rude as well as incompetent. I wouldn’t recommend this company zero stars.

5/15/21-Response- it is irresponsible of you to ASSUME. Without knowing the facts. I stand by my review.

Had a great experience on a getting a mortgage for my new house in VA through Nextmark CU and CUMA. Jennifer was my loan officer and Juan was my processor and both were great. They were able to hit my 30 day close.
