Firstly, it is never acceptable for a professional to be rude to their clients. As a CPA, they should have maintained a professional demeanor and treated you with respect. Unfortunately, it seems like this individual fell short in this aspect, and it is not something that should be taken lightly.

Additionally, charging excessive fees without providing a clear estimate beforehand is completely unacceptable. As a client, you have the right to know what you are paying for and how much it will cost before any work is done. It is concerning that this CPA did not provide you with this basic information and instead played games with you.
