I've been woth LES threw Pelican credit union for years now. Monday I deposited $400 cash inside of the lafayette branch and would check my account each day not seeing it there so I called today and the lady on the phone (who had nothing to do with this and was extremely nice and helpful) figured out they had lost $400..... she finally got ahold of the lafayette branch manager and she called me.ba k to tell me she put the $400 into my account so she right their wrong BUT according to the lady helping me.on the phone sje said it looked like the teller got the wrong account cause there was two accounts with the same name. Isn't that why you ask for things like account numbers? Birthdays? SS#? Idk how that teller got the wrong g account but seems like she didn't know what she was doing or she was being fishy. This is not the first time I've had issues with Pelican credit union as most of the striks where small but this strike was big and it's their last one. I'm done amd will be leaving pelican/les.

I had a wonderful experience at Pelican State Credit Union! I went in to open a new account and the Branch Manager - Diane Lantier - took the time to assist me and go over all of my options in a kind and professional manner. I was extremely impressed with her knowledge of the credit union's offerings and with how efficiently she took care of me. Based on this interaction, I knew I made the right choice when selecting Pelican!

I cannot express how wonderful of an experience I had today. I had a complicated issue with a check which they help resolve. They were extremely friendly and helpful and they also helped me set up a new account and I'm so blessed to have received their help today and am so grateful they were so kind. Special shout-out to Diane for being a rockstar and the lovely teller who helped me before that. They even gave me a fresh baked cookie on the way out. I don't know what more a person could ask for or expect. I'd also like to say that so far the app is amazing too. I am so happy to have them as my new bank. The best credit Union I’ve dealt with! I’ve gotten an auto loan, checking account, savings account and business bank account with them and I’ve been with them for years. Haley is the best! She is very informative and has a wonderful attitude.

We always used a large corporate bank and really never understood Credit Unions. I am so sad that I waited so long before opening an account there. They treat you like family, yet still professional. Hailey is who we opened our account with. Forgive me if I spelled her name incorrectly. She is amazing! I highly recommend Pelican!!!!!

Got a loan with this company for my suv. I have been waiting almost a month for my license plate to come in. They have gave me the run around with their DMV services. Can’t even get an extension on my paper plate.. They have horrible customer service and do not get back with you for days. If you try to contact someone on the app, they respond 2-3 days later. Thankfully I am not holding my breath waiting on my license plate. Trying to get around with no license plate because of Pelican is something I will not forget! Especially in the moments of having my newborn son and needing to get around with Dr apts. I can not wait to be done with this company!! I would not recommend pelican to ANYONE!!! I’m looking to switch loan companies ASAP!

I bank here, and the staff are very nice and helpful. The Lafayette (St. Jules Branch) make me feel like a part of the family. They watch my accounts for anything suspicious, and notify me. I especially like the "My Pelican" app. for online banking. It has multiple features rolled into one. .

This is a “ low class” bank . When you call the number it warns that they do not tolerate violence or disruptive actions at the bank locations as a disclosure. Which means they have had problems with this before. Tried to get a loan with 810 credit score got approved and not a call back for 2 weeks while we waited on them to call us. Very unprofessional bank elsewhere you will thank me later. Remember y’all look for signs from these banks that show what type of clients they work with. No customer service at all.
