"Absolutely disgusted by the way USAA has treated me!

After PCS'ing from Texas to California in September 2023, I was wrongfully charged an additional $3,000 because my policy wasn’t switched over, something I didn’t even find out until a recent accident. My renters insurance with them and my PCS orders clearly show I’ve been in California the entire time, so how in the world was I charged that extra amount

I’ve been with USAA for over a decade with ZERO accidents, yet I’m treated like absolute trash when I need help the most. The customer service is atrocious. They’re quick to take your money but so reluctant to give it back when it matters – whether it’s a claim or a situation like mine.

I’ll be honest, I do NOT recommend USAA to anyone, especially veterans. Listen to the warning signs, trust the reviews, and believe me when I say they overcharge and are terrible to deal with during the claims process. STAY AWAY!"
