Made a significant error when filing our 2021 tax returns. We have subsequently had to hire a tax attorney in an attempt to get things straightened out with the IRS. I will recommend E. G. Sanchez to my enemies that I want to get into trouble with the IRS.

If I could give 0 I would. They recently took over from another CPA which I had worked with for years. There was no courtesy call introducing themselves. Just an assumption that I would continue the relationship. I called and emailed to let them know I was not going to use their service as I had found another CPA. I never received a reply. I then received an email enclosing my 2020 extension forms. I subsequently emailed again that I was not using their services. No reply again. I then received 3 emails from them that they had filed an income tax extension for tax year 2020 for the 3 separate accounts in my household. All without my authorization. I subsequently called and left another message. Once again no call back. If you want a company that will not return emails, calls and provide no service at all this is the company for you.

Enrique purchased the accounting practice from Scott last year. Prices doubled for the same work (filing federal and California taxes, which should be the bread and butter of a CPA). Yovani, an accountant, is completely unresponsive to emails, voicemails, and written messages passed on from the front desk. I also question his level of competency given that every question had to be escalated to Enrique. Given that the bill was 2x what I had paid last year, I asked Evee, the AR clerk, whether the bill included my spouses’ taxes. I received a smart a$$ response.

I shared my feedback with Enrique to see if there was any service recovery. He must know his ship is sinking or he has incompetent staff based on his response.
